Hal has been teaching from Spolin’s work since 1981, bringing decades of experience to the workshop.

ABOUT HAL PELLER

Hal Peller has been a facilitator of Spolin Improvisation since 1981 and currently facilitates improvisation workshops in New York City.

His workshops have been nominated for an INNY Award for Best Improvisation Workshop, and he has also been nominated for Best Coach for his work with the Harold team Eskimo Dance.

Hal has directed the Little Britches, an all-women comedy group, and Brooklyn Improv Group (BIG). He also directed The Fine Young Comedians, a teen sketch comedy group that performed at Stand-Up New York and was featured on ABC Family TV.

At the Broadway Theater Institute, Hal facilitated workshops including Improvisation for the Theater, Theater Games for Non-Actors, Theater Games for Teachers, and Corporate Management Training.

He also coaches stand-up comedians and theater companies throughout the world.
