Class description
WHAT ARE WE DOING?
Scotty teaches NYC long-form improvisational acting as opposed to short-form improv. Yes, it’s funny, but it’s not jokey.
Each workshop has a theme is stand-alone. They're not part of a semester of classes. You can take one at any time, skip a week and come back. That means if you take a single class, you won't be lost AND if you take a LOT of classes, you'll see a progression in your development as an improvisational actor.
Scotty provides a safe space to learn and explore. The rule is to be nice and respect others.
To preserve our safe-space, participants are subject to instructor approval after a very short survey and interview.
